About Us

Gaziantep's neighbourhood pet shop, now at your door

Gazikent Petshop was founded in Gaziantep by a team that knows the "we're out of food and need it tonight" panic all too well. In our Şahinbey store we have spent years getting to know the people behind cats, dogs, birds and aquariums, learning together which food suits which pet. This website exists to bring that same over-the-counter trust to the whole city.

Fıstık & Kabuk: our identity, inspired by Antep

Say "Gaziantep" and everyone thinks of the Antep pistachio. Our visual identity, Fıstık & Kabuk ("Pistachio & Shell"), takes its name and colours from it: a deep shell tone, fresh pistachio green, and an approach that is sturdy on the outside and thoughtful on the inside. We want it to stand for the care we put into every order: helping you choose the right product, sending fresh stock and getting the parcel to your door on time.

Authorised-distributor products only

Every food, litter, non-medicinal care product and accessory we sell is sourced from the brand's authorised distributor in Türkiye or directly from the manufacturer. That means:

• You get products with long shelf life, stored under the right conditions.
• No counterfeit or grey-import risk.
• Invoices and warranty claims work without hassle.

Same-day delivery and store pickup

Orders placed by 16:00 in Şahinbey, Şehitkamil and Oğuzeli arrive the same day. If you're passing by, choose "Store Pickup" and collect your order free of charge; it is usually ready within 2 hours. For the rest of Türkiye we ship with our partner carriers in 1–3 business days.

Our partner vet

For diet changes, allergies or weight management we recommend asking an expert instead of guessing. Our partner veterinary clinic in Gaziantep holds consultation hours in our store on set days and offers our customers a discount on examinations. The nutrition notes on our product pages are prepared with their input, but none of our content replaces a veterinary examination.

Grooming and pet hotel

At the back of our store, our appointment-only groomer offers bathing, trimming, nail and ear care. Our small pet hotel gives every guest their own space, daily play time and a daily photo report sent to you, so you can travel with peace of mind. Message us on WhatsApp for appointments and availability.
